Hobson Area Success Story Thank you - Cynthia and Larry Denton, Hobson, MT During a conference in San Francisco in November, Cynthia and Larry Denton of Elfin Enterprises were approached by a woman from Northern California whose family was interested in moving to Montana. After a discussion of why they wanted to leave Northern California, we suggested she look at the Come Home Montana web pages. At that point every community in our county was represented in the Come Home Montana site. It was a technology conference with Internet access readily available. She connected with us at the next break, 2 hours later. She had spent the time looking through the information of various communities on the Come Home Montana Website. She was amazed at what was available in the small communities in Montana. It helped her understand why we have chosen to live in a small community and have beautiful scenery, great technology availability and a relaxed lifestyle. The technology available to us was a surprise to her and a plus for their decision making. At that point we were able to have a productive discussion of what might meet her family's needs. We have continued to correspond with this family and they hope to make a trip to Montana this summer to visit some of the communities they have learned about. It has been great to help guide them through their exploration process. |
